What happens after a date check?

Owner-confirmed availability comes first. When the owner has enabled approved pricing, retainer terms, Stripe credentials, and the public booking gate, the system creates a short-lived capacity hold and redirects to Stripe-hosted Checkout. Until then, the flow remains inquiry-only.
